How It Works:
#1 Schedule a consult
I offer in person and virtual group yoga, private coaching and corporate yoga & wellness. The best place to start is a free 15 minute consult to talk about your goals and to determine if working together is a good match. Let’s talk! Email me at karen@flexiblewarrior.com to set up your free consult.
#2 Choose a package & schedule sessions
Next, we’ll coordinate our schedules to find a day and time to meet weekly, whether it’s yoga, health coaching or a combo of both, I will help you create and customize a plan specific to your needs. Together we’ll set the plan in motion towards your goals. CLICK HERE for group classes in Parkton MD.
#3 Reach Your Goals
Whether it’s private a group, each week we will meet face-to-face or remotely via phone or Zoom to progress you through the steps and get you from where you are to where you want to be. Once you achieve your goal, I also have clients who continue on a maintenance program to keep them accountable and on track all year long.
Thanks to Karen and her Seasonal Resets, I feel more empowered, flexible and resilient. I even did a “digital detox” and practice more mindfulness and meditation (this is huge for me), and have added more nourishing superfoods to my diet. And I’m proud to say I now practice Yoga regularly and am really noticing it’s many benefits in my mind and body.
Since I’ve been doing Karen’s Quarterly Resets, I find that I walk a little taller, don’t immediately stress out like I used to, and adapt to the ebbs and flows of my life with a newfound resilience.

“Karen’s Willpower / Chillpower approach in her Yoga, Superfood & Self Care Challenge affirm the benefits of home yoga and self care. As a runner, I log a lot of miles that really tax and tighten my body. I have learned from Karen about the importance of balancing my running and cross-training routine with flexibility and recovery. She always promotes and reminds runners that consistency is the key and that it is not about being perfect in yoga poses. Her short 10 – 15 minute sequences fit in great pre or post-run and really keep me feeling limber, strong and able to keep going… And learning the myriad of benefits of Superfoods has been dramatically beneficial to my energy and recovery… Without even trying to lose weight, I had less bloat and more leanness!”

My Personal
Health Journey
I’ve come a long way, but the journey to staying healthy is never-ending. It’s a lifestyle, not a destination…
I got started in the fitness industry in the 80s. My mom managed an all-women’s health club. I was 17 and taught dance aerobics before or after school. When I went to college, I continued teaching before or after classes. Some of my friends were waitresses, but I taught fitness for a little extra cash.
After college… you guess it… I taught fitness classes before or after work. Then, my husbands job moved us from Pennsylvania to Massachusetts and it was there that I got my first full-time fitness job at Canyon Ranch Resort.
Unfortunately, at that same time, I got Lyme Disease. I started to feel the symptoms of body pain, headaches and fatigue while I lived in Massachusetts and began a three year journey of seeing dozens of doctors to help me figure out what was wrong… but it wasn’t until we moved to Virginia years later that a doctor finally diagnosed me with Lyme along with an autoimmune disease called Hashimotos Thyroiditis. No wonder I was feeling so bad! I was in my late 20s but felt old, bloated and exhausted with hair falling out, acne, migraines and many hormonal issues.
After years of searching and dozens of doctors, I hired a health coach and took my health into my own hands. My energy and health began to transform little-by-little and now I feel healthier and more energized in my 50s than I did in my 20s … and my favorite thing is to help find their inner warrior!
Karen is a wonderful human! We’ve been “fit friends” for years (she’s a member of my farm and I am a grateful participant in her season resets). I love her seasonal resets because I always feel healthier, more energized, light & balanced in my mind, body & spirit when we finish. The group support, program materials, live and pre-recorded classes and daily emails really help me stay on track, and as a busy mom of 3 plus business owner, the self-care is so essential to my produtivity, mindset and overall wellness.

I’m thrilled with my improved motivation and energy! Karen, is not only a wonderful coach but a loyal friend and real light in this world!

I have enjoyed joining my wife, Caroline, in Flexible Warrior yoga sessions. Karen holds true to teaching “willpower and chillpower”. Encouraging you to practice determination yet also embracing the ability to let go. She challenges you to commit and put in the work. The results create opportunity and change!
