FIND YOUR FLEXIBLE WARRIOR…
Hi! Thanks for visiting my site.
I believe that everyone is a warrior on some level… Whether you are a professional athlete trying to recover faster and improve flexibility, a corporate executive wanting to reduce stress or chronic pain, a cancer survivor on the journey to regaining health or a stay-at-home mom trying to stay healthy, calm and energized…
We are all warriors! If you’ve been struggling with low energy, extra weight, headaches, chronic aches & pains or something more serious like a chronic illness or debilitating injury, I can relate!
After being diagnosed with Lyme disease and Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, an autoimmune condition, I learned many self-care techniques to support my healing with yoga, nutrition and essential oils.
The Flexible Warrior is about the “balance of opposites”. My approach incorporates self-care, yoga, stress-management and healthy eating to help you find more balance, health and peace. As a health coach, we will work together on simple techniques to empower you to make healthier choices.
I’ve been in the fitness industry for over 30 years. As a registered yoga teacher, a holistic health coach and a doTerra wellness advocate, I love working with athletic, Type A’s create a more balanced, pain-free, flexible mind and body by incorporating anti-inflammatory superfoods along with essential oils and simple self-care techniques to feel more flexible, strong & resilient at any age.
I’ve also been fortunate to teach Yoga for Athletes 10 seasons for the Baltimore Ravens football team and also three seasons for the University of Maryland Terrapins men’s basketball team. In addition to private and group sessions for runners, triathletes, golfers, lacrosse and soccer players, I was blessed to help Olympic Pentathlete Suzanne Stettinius stay recovered and flexible while training for five sports leading up to the 2012 London Olympic games.
I LOVE teaching fundraising yoga classes for my favorite charity organizations: BARCS Animal Shelter, Believe Big and the TRU Rescue.
I was born in Hanover, PA and currently live near Baltimore, MD with my husband and our four rescue pups (they have their own Instagram page along with a childrens book called “Adopting Joy”).
