Four challenging, fast paced 15 – 20 minute segments to increase energy, core strength, balance, functional flexibility & athletic performance.

Segments can be done separately or back to back for a full, total body workout.

Athletic Yoga for Triathletes includes four 15 – 20 minute workouts:

Energy – inspired by the yoga “Sun Salutation” this warm up increases range of motion and functional flexibility before your training session.

Core – condition your center with this yoga and Pilates inspired sequence for abs

Cross Train – total body strength, stability, and endurance for upper and lower body

Balance & Recover – a challenge sequence of balance poses for strength, stability and agility followed by a short final relaxation recovery.

PLUS – Bonus segment with Athletic Yoga Basic Principles including proper breathing, alignment, and the importance of balance the body and recovery.

With guidance and feedback from a team of competitive triathletes, this program was designed specifically for intermediate to advanced fitness level endurance athletes who are new to yoga.  The three segments can be done separately or together for a balanced total body cross training workout. A yoga mat and stretch strap are recommended.
